Members of our team have invested a significant amount of time combing through sexually explicit book lists and cross referencing them with local libraries. In addition, there is a corresponding rating with each book, based on the rating system developed by www.ratedbooks.org. Below you will find the rating system, a list of the books, and a list of ebooks found at our local library.

This is a non-comprehensive compilation of books available through digital download in public libraries. These books contain varying degrees of sexually explicit content and vulgar language within Young Adult/Teen and Juvenile/Children's collections. The numbers following most of the book titles are based on a detailed grading scale found on the website www.ratedbooks.org. This is a website created by concerned parents who wanted a quick guide to access the appropriateness of a book for children and teen/young adults, based on the content found between a book's covers. (Please note that the American Library Association classifies a young adult as ages 12-18)
